I tried taking shortcuts in my life
Why would you do that?
I wasn't always trying purposely to cut corners, I wasn't always aware of what was happening, I can see a bit better in hindsight, I was running around doing too many things regardless of intentions, goals, potential, talents, ability, luck, providence, destiny, will power, miracles, the alleged for the greater good scam which can be counterproductive, clouded Star Wars Darth Vader Anakin Skywalker Luke head in the clouds vision as it may drift away from calculated risks
But think of the collateral damage, why were you doing too many things?
I blame my Arnold Attic Billy Breaker heart that can pervert my passion into rage as a workaholic perfectionist who is on the go tackling too many projects, plates, cooks, all at once, all over the place
If you dropped the ball, then why not drop the ball before you drop the ball?
I wanted all the balls to myself perhaps. I was learning how to say no to work, to job offers, especially in Vietnam in 2014 which was a pivotal year as I started focusing only on District 1 of Saigon

I've always been the opposite of lazy. Not only am I'm not the lazy type, I'm sort of like Elon Musk, Einstein, I sort of work like a scientist where I could like lock myself in a room so I can tackle projects for like 30+ hours straight without sleep kind of thing
On top of that, I was sort of like a running turtle in a race with rabbits
I was almost not born
Couldn't hear, see, or talk very well first like few years of my life, born in 1985 outside of a ghetto in Oregon
Which is why I had to get glasses, hearing aids, WOL, AWANA, Salvation Army, churches, youth groups, my ghetto friends, the Arnold Attic, home schooling club where we would go to Skate World in Hillsboro in the 1990s, speech therapy when I was like nine around 1994
So because I was so far behind in school, in learning how to talk, in socializing as an introvert nerd athlete, I felt like I had to catch up which I started doing more and more as I got older and especially starting around 1995 and perhaps some of that led to me perhaps trying to take too many shortcuts especially at my second college, ABC, in West Virginia, especially around like 2007
Not necessarily trying to perhaps excessively or inaccurately rationalize or justify actions I've made in my life be them good or bad, I'm trying to explain my mindset, perspective
You can only eat an oatmeal elephant one bite at a time which one of the biggest mistakes I've made in life is taking too many shortcuts in trying to catch up, in trying to do everything as a builder, as an optimistic dreamer, clouded by both the fear of failure and regret. I've failed to be in the moment to truly enjoy life, the Mary versus Martha complex, as I was sucked into like a mental rat race of sorts as I'm very self-driven similar to that of Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, Elon Musk, Trump, and many others

I got up at 10:30 AM, I think I mostly forget my dreams but I think they were crazy dreams dealing with like if ya do things then you will no longer exist or maybe all of reality for everyone and the universe will stop existing like I mentioned previous days with other dreams but maybe some things were different, the end. Got up. Got out apple juice jug from front garage for mom who could not find where I stashed it, hooked car battery to charger by ice chest freezer in that same garage, fed birds, greenhouse plants out, to RV for coffee, partly sunny day, feeling a bit tired. Breakfast, 11:00 AM. Lunch, 12:53 PM. Magnesium to tomato beds, raked, swept sidewalks, vacuum, around like 02:00 PM. Dishes, tumbler, mail, around like 04:00 PM to 04:56 PM. Dinner, 05:18 PM. Nap around 06:00 PM to like 07:30 PM. Plants back into green house. I told mom I do not take her words literally because she calls tangerines oranges. I know they are similar and maybe related. She said clean the stove. I said oh the counter. I mean the stove. Truth be told, she rarely says this as I always clean the stove. So I was surprised. Dishes. Felt good to be outside. Bloated. Partly cloudy, some sunshine today. Back here around 07:50 PM. Food log: Breakfast: coffee, 5 tangerines, 11:00 AM. Lunch: leftover soup from yesterday with hot peppers jam which helped, 12:53 PM. Dinner: salad, 05:18 PM.
