I want to focus on computers and phones and hard drives. Around this time, mom handed me this laptop she got in the mail from like eBay, it was used, it was last updated in December of 2024, it has version 24 of the main Ubuntu distro.

Samsung 256.1 GB 2280 M.2 SSD. 2940 mAh Li-ion battery. 14.8 V, 3.04 Ah, 45 Wh, UEFI BIOS 2017, Ubuntu 24.04. Gnome 46. Firmware GRET51WW (1.28). Intel HD Graphics 4400 (HSW GT2). Windowing system: Wayland. OS-type: 64-bit architecture. Linux kernel version 6.8.0-51-generic. Laptop screen resolution: 1600x900 (16:9) at 60 Hz refresh rate. Battery lasts about 2 hours.

Looks like Owen Shroyer got his blue check back, I wonder if Twitter has made official statements as to whether people losing their check was a glitch in the code or if staff did it manually or what, Elon Musk should make a statement, I hope it was just a bug in the code and nothing more than that.

When I asked @grok why @OwenShroyer1776 temporarily lost his blue check mark on Twitter X, Grok gave me a rather vague response
I don't know how accurate or relevant Grok might be especially as Grok didn't mention what @elonmusk might have said a week ago regarding changes in the code which makes me think either staff manually removed the blue check marks from accounts, it might have been a glitch in the code, and/or perhaps the algorithm (AI) did it
I think the algorithm and the code of X is managed completely or to a degree by artificial intelligence meaning AI meaning systems like Grok and AI can get things wrong because it can be triggered based on the data it is given which can be kind of crazy as Grok has the potential of jumping off a cliff like like Google Gemini as Grok can be manipulated to a degree by the entirety of the Internet which feeds into Grok which can be tough for AI to make sense of when it was struggling just to read pictures and AI struggles with many things that humans can understand still; AI is advancing but it may still take a few more years for AI to get to human-level of understanding many things that humans sort of just get instinctively or subliminally even
