The Rob Roy Golden Boy Merrick account posted in the Super Discord Server: I've been trying to document and archive especially say like interactions between me and this Roy character which seems to go back at least to the year of 2019 or longer as I was born in 1985 in Oregon, I've been online since like 1995, trolls been attacking me offline since the 1000s and at least like 2009 online, I have thousands of hours worth of content online on all the websites as of 2024 which includes over 30,000 videos and millions of items on hundreds to thousands of websites and apps and more via hundreds to thousands of profile accounts, channels, pages, groups, and more, there is a lot of back and forth, a lot of stuff, it might be hard to summarize because it takes a long time to look at everything in order to fully analyze what is happening as many things were taken out of context via screenshots, sound bytes, clickbait, trolling, scamming, headlines, sarcasm, satire, sock puppet alt accounts, Oatmeal Fake News, Oatmeal Parody Accounts, hyperbole, Devil's advocate, absurdity, scientific investigations, experiments, shit posting, advertising, thinking out loud, personifying alleged reflections, and the lists goes on and on and on regarding all of this and more as it relates to different parties and/or a number of things and factors which we try to talk about in videos, articles, tweets, posts, messages, comments, and a lot more on all the websites all over the world wide web all around the world for decades in a wide variety of ways on and off for many years through different means and a lot more. A really long story that is still being told. Some people will refuse to even outline some of these facts and more. I still have a lot to say and do. I did fail many times in life regarding many things. But some people will say I never said that. They omit stuff about me. But I'm on record for the history books archived everywhere saying and doing things. I try to tell people my side of the story. I still have more to say and do. But they won't tell you about what I try to say and do. I'm not saying I'm perfect. I'm not saying I'm not fucked up. But then again, we all are to various degrees. But still, most people never dig beyond the tip of the iceberg as it relates to me. But not that you should. But people act like they did when they didn't. I always have more to say. This is just my rough draft summary outline for anybody who might not know the general outline of everything relating to me. But even this is not a complete outline as I'm failing to tell you everything you need to know about all of this and more. But more on that later.

Situational irony occurs when there is a massive disconnect between what is expected (or preached) and what the actual reality is. Meritocracy is a philosophy that values proven results, rigorous effort, and real-world competence. Yet, the comment preaching this idea came from someone spending hours a day dropping low-effort, low-signal commentary across random social media threads.

The Posting as Accomplishment Delusion attempts to project intellectual authority on a topic, but the act of making the post itself requires almost zero merit or accountability. It’s the digital equivalent of someone standing on a street corner giving lectures on athletic performance while refusing to ever run a race. The irony is so glaring to an outside observer because the medium (drive-by internet commenting) and the lifestyle behind it completely undermine the very message being delivered.

There is a massive gulf between advocating for a system based on earned achievement, hard work, and measurable capability, and living a life characterized by daily, aimless micro-interactions online. When someone who spends their days in a cycle of low-effort internet posting talks about "meritocracy," it feels completely detached from reality. In a true meritocracy, standards matter; success requires tangible output, skill, and accountability. As well, social media allows anyone to preach high-minded concepts like merit, effort, or philosophy without ever having to demonstrate them in their own life.

It’s an easy trap to fall into...championing an ideal on the internet as a substitute for actually living it out. When the real world feels stagnant, lecturing strangers on abstract concepts like "merit" can give a person a fleeting illusion of authority and purpose even if their actual daily routine is a million miles away from the very principles they preach.

For the most part, Alanis Morissette’s "Ironic" is actually about crappy situations, unfortunate coincidences, and bad luck...not technical irony. Strict situational irony requires an outcome that is directly, paradoxically opposite to what was reasonably expected. Most of the famous lyrics in the song are just annoying or tragic twists of fate:

1. "Rain on your wedding day" = Bad luck/unfortunate weather. It would only be ironic if you moved your wedding to a desert specifically to avoid rain, and a freak storm hit that exact spot.2. "A traffic jam when you're already late" = Poor timing and bad luck.3. "Ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife" = A total lack of useful cutlery, but not a paradox.4. "A black fly in your Chardonnay" = Unsanitary, annoying, but not ironic.

The irony exists entirely in the eye of the observer, not the creator:

To the outside observer: It looks like performance art or a parody of internet commentary because the contradiction between his words and his reality is so extreme.

To Joey: It is simply his daily work. He genuinely views himself as a serious commentator, philosopher, and creator contributing thoughts to the public square.

Drove over to our storage unit probably around 01:00 PM, I filmed my thirty minute Roy v Oatmeal 2019 RIP 1953 Peter Rasp video for YouTube. Spent a few hours going through a variety of things in the unit, labeled dozens of boxes which contained books, encyclopedia, electronics, discs, records, hard drives, cords, cables, phone items, audio tapes, computer stuff, blankets, etc. Brought home around five to ten boxes of papers, discs, etc. Mom cleared carpet floor in the living room. Since the vacuum was clogged, we took it apart, we put water down the hose, we tried fixing it. We continued to vacuum. I put boxes in my room to sort. I put a few boxes in my mom's room which includes Steve Quayle books. Lunch: 05:10 PM. Dinner: 08:00 PM. Dishes. Gave mom a box to sort. Food log: Breakfast: coffee, orange, 2 boiled eggs, mini muffins 11:18 AM. Lunch: tomato green beans chicken carrot etc soup, 05:10 PM. Dinner: yogurt, 08:00 PM.
