Invisible Oatmeal

Was trying not to be in debt, people pressured me towards normality of credit cards
Culture encourages the concept of buy now pay later, the world has been sucked into this vortex of instant gratification mixed with procrastinated responsibilities, liability
People are at fault, some more than others, for the trillions of dollars of debt the U.S. Federal Government allegedly appears to be under, Rome fell under debt, we can talk all day about the history of the crimes committed by control freaks
But on the other hand, my oatmeal was invisible, I wanted to talk briefly about my failure to explain myself to the world in this video, people did bad but I also did bad too at the same time or at least that's the perception at play
Looking back at my life, I can see how you might say I did people wrong, I wanted to give you a few examples of some of the alleged crimes I've committed, never mind if I had good intentions as I was only trying to make the world greener one oatmeal at a time, like never mind everything I was thinking or not thinking as I wasn't always thinking ahead, we can talk all day about my alleged excuses, reasoning, thinking, behind like why I did what I did in my life, I do try to tell my side of the story about all of that too as often I as I can
There were times I didn't pay for things in my life, sometimes people would pay for my meals at restaurants, fast food; I would eat their cereal; they bought me plane tickets; they bought me tickets at movie theaters, and the list goes on and on; never mind the fact that perhaps some or all of these examples were like gifts or whatever they might might have been
I grew up in the 1900s mostly around Christians who would give us things for free with no strings attached, I was born in the year 1985 in Oregon in a trailer park, we would sometimes get things from churches, friends, family, Salvation Army, organizations; some of it was like food, toys, clothes; some of it may have been presents, gifts, and what not; I remember some of this since like the 1990s or longer
I started expecting to get more things for free even as I got older, I continued desiring handy me downs, welfare, food stamps, Oprah to save us; my mentality was often or at least sometimes sort of like this to various degrees especially the younger I was
Regardless of how much I might have deserved in my life, you might say I came across as a jerk and a number of things which is true to various degrees as it's always about being right in life you might say in a sense that you might win battles while losing wars in the bigger picture as you zoom out to see how everything might affect everything in how you treat people and everything else
Never mind that I was trying to help people in my life, the results was sometimes burning bridges which was generally not really my intentions but I was also at least partly delusional in the For The Greater Good Scam and probably other scams too; like I was trying to force things to happen for the greater good like an autistic oatmeal version of Greta; and I'm not saying I'm a lot better in life now; but I do try to improve daily in many areas in my life; not saying I'm perfect; not saying you can always learn from me; I'm saying I'm trying to take gradual steps in the right direction every moment I got; would love to be perhaps immortal
Say for example, people invited me to eat with them at houses, restaurants, fast food; as hosts, they paid; they would sometimes say they would pay; sometimes they would ask me if I could pay; or they would want me to; that surprised me as I started expecting each situation to be the same as they would pay; I saw a pattern that I liked
I felt that my time was valuable, so I would prefer they pay for me if they wanted me to hang out with them; but I also didn't really want to eat at say McDonald's meaning I don't want to pay for food I wouldn't have bought; I rarely ate at fast food on my own; so my thinking was you pay to play with the Original Green Oatmeal Joey Arnold, that's me
I can talk all day about why I did what I did in my life, but I didn't spend too much time talking about my mindset, what I was thinking be it right, wrong, whether relevant, logical, irrational, based, or not; I try to correct the record in telling my side of the story for the history books in letting people know what I did, what I thought, how I felt, what I believed, and everything; I can write books about it; I can talk hour thousands of hours talking about why I did what I did in my life regardless of whether said actions were good, bad, or whatever
This video has typos, in them, just another reminder I am full of flaws, problems, etc
One of the many problems in my life is Invisible Oatmeal in that I failed at showing people my value
If I went back in time to when people invited me out to go eat with them, I'd either only say yes when I was prepared to pay or always say no if I didn't want to pay that is if they're not insisting it's on them, on the house, that they'll pay; I sometimes assumed they would pay because many times they said they would and many times they did pay for me even when I didn't ask for it
Invisible Oatmeal is one of the problems I would have in that I was often not fully highlighting my value to others; perhaps I even hid some of my treasures, gifts, abilities, talents, skills; some of that might be justified; but I sometimes assumed those worthy of my time would see my invisible oatmeal which again is partly true at times
Collateral Damage?
I am not saying I was always wrong in the actions I made in my life, I am saying that I sometimes look back at choices I made and I wonder if things could have been different, in conclusion, the moral of the story is to sometimes consider how your actions might affect others as some of it may have resulted in bad first impressions as people judge books by covers as surface level weirdos that they are

Timestamps generally in Pacific Standard Time (PST) or Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) unless otherwise noted. Welcome to Oatmeal Daily with your host, me, Oatmeal Joey Arnold, each day, I publish/syndicate these entries/posts/articles/web pages/stories/etc, to websites/blockchain/social media/email/etc. This is mostly a personal blog/vlog/diary/journal/autobiography/outline/news. I teach class sometimes at night. However, some of this may be useful, applicable, inspirational, educational, entertaining, etc. Boring/mundane daily template log. I've included my watch log near the bottom of this post listing some of the videos I've viewed. At the very bottom are some of my favorite links worth sharing. Nap around 10 or 11 PM the previous day to like 2 AM or something. Up for like 4 hours after that. Then to bed. I got up for a sec around 9, had to use the little boys room. Up for good at 11:40 AM. Scrubbed and put away the blue crock pot, unloaded groceries from the jeep. Breakfast, 12:15 PM. Lunch, 12:27 PM. Unloaded plants at 01:55 PM from jeep. Soft green wiring, sticks, prop them up in green house to be planted soon. Dishes after that. Mom said I left the lights on in the big garage, I said to her I didn't. Later on mom said I left 2 plastic containers of food on the counter or stove by the fridge in the RV but then I said I didn't because they were already out. Maybe I left them out but the fridge was also being defrosted, aired out. Mail. Back here at 03:20 PM. Organized in the book shed around 4 or 5 to 06:40 PM, almost 2 or 3 hours, saw random things like books, tapped an audio tape tape ribbon together. Dinner, 06:54 PM. Dishes, 07:30 PM. Supper, 08:12 PM. Food log: Breakfast: coffee, 2 tangerines, 12:15 PM. Lunch: salad, 12:27 PM. Dinner: chicken with spinach or vegetables, 06:54 PM. Supper: one toasted cheese bagel was so good, 08:12 PM. Nap around 9 to 11.

How to stop election fraud, call it identity theft

"Sheriff, I'm a victim of identity theft." Don't talk about election fraud. Below, I've included a 39-step guide on what to do if they tell you that you already voted on election day which is on Tuesday, the 5th day of November of 2024. Statistically this will likely happen to you even if you didn't already vote. There is a high probability this will happen because it already happened thousands of times in 2020 and 2022 in states like California.

Outline
Here is an outline of what you can do:

  1. Request for an absentee ballot to be sent to you by mail but don't open it
  2. Vote in person on election day, don't show them your absentee ballot
  3. If they say you already voted, contact your sheriff
  4. Have your sheriff come to document identity theft
  5. Don't say election fraud at a polling location, say it's a retail place
  6. Show your sheriff your absentee ballot but don't surrender it
  7. Vote in person via a provisional ballot

Let me provide more details as follows. Request an absentee mail-in ballot. Don't open it. Try to vote on election day. But if they say you already voted even when you haven't, contact your sheriff. Don't call 911. Say it's a non-emergency. Say you witnessed identity theft at a retail location. Don't say you're at a ballot location. Request the sheriff to come. Tell the sheriff your story. Have the sheriff ask the staff who will repeat that you already voted even as you didn't. After that, pull out your unopened absentee ballot to show the sheriff but then keep that ballot as by law it's your property and you don't have to surrender it. Your sheriff has the power to open up a proper investigation on your identity theft and seize ballot boxes.

Also, they can give you a provisional ballot so you can vote in person. But without the help of the sheriff, they're not going to count your provisional ballot but will instead just count the fake absentee ballot vote which didn't actually come from you as you didn't already vote even if they said you already voted. So, vote in person on election day via a provisional ballot if they say you already voted even as you haven't already voted. Make sure your sheriff knows you were a victim of identity theft.

Do not say voting fraud or election theft or anything political like that. Just say identity theft because it was identity theft. And keep your unopened absentee mail-in ballot as evidence of the crime of identity theft which they committed against you. Scroll down to see these 39 steps in more details below as follows. Share this with everyone you know, and as Elon Musk of Twitter X said, with everyone you don't know as well.

MJ Truth - If you received a Mail-in Ballot and did not Request it, Follow these Steps - YouTube | Full interview on YouTube

If these videos (above) were removed off YouTube, then click here to watch that first video on Rumble Video or you can search for the video yourself, it's from podcast number 62 where Roseanne Barr talks with Jovan Pulitzer

How can Americans fight absentee/mail-in ballot fraud?

1. Request for an absentee mail-in ballot

No matter who you are, this article is for you, whether you're voting for Donald John Trump, Joe Biden, Michelle Obama of Barack Obama, Oatmeal Joey Arnold, Kamala Harris or anybody else. This may even apply if you're not even voting at all because you may find out they voted in your name even as you don't even vote at all. They may have stolen your identity by forging your name on ballots to pretend you voted when really you didn't. This affects red and blue states. And remember that blue states are only blue in a few of the largest cities as the countryside is red.

2. Don't open your absentee ballot

Do not open it when it comes in the mail, do not tamper with it. Make sure you keep the envelope unopened. Make sure you don't remove postal stamps if there are any off the exterior of the envelope. You want to preserve it in the same condition you received it in. Hold onto it.

3. Don't open others either

If you received a ballot but didn't request one, don't open that either. Keep everything version that is sent to you. This is your evidence.

4. Vote in person on election day

Vote in person on election day which is Tuesday, the 5th day of November of 2024 (that is this current year right now).

5. Bring your unopened absentee ballot

Bring with you your unopened absentee ballot but vote in person at a voting location.

6. They might say you already voted

When you try to vote in person, then they might say sorry you already voted even if you have not yet voted. Do not panic as they're simply relaying to you what they're being told. You know you haven't voted (assuming if you haven't voted) but they only know what they see on computers or wherever they get their information from. There is a high statistical probability they'll say you already voted since this has happened a lot in 2020 and 2022 in states like California in the United States of America (USA).

7. Don't bitch

Don't whine, complain, yell, panic, go crazy. Stay calm. Don't get mad as this is not a personal attack against you personally. Stay reserved and focused. Don't say words like fraud and stuff.

8. Say, "Can you repeat that to me?"

They'll say it again that you already voted even when you haven't.

9. Request for a provisional ballot

They'll give you a provisional ballot form you can fill out which lets you vote and it means they might investigate it. Well, actually, they'll count the mail-in ballot and not count the provisional ballot as it might be hard to know whether or not you already voted by mail or not. So they'll just count the absentee mail-in ballot even if it was not sent from you. Like even if you didn't vote by mail, they'll count the ballot they received which came by mail in your name.

10. Ask for the supervisor

As they hand you the provisional ballot, calmly ask for the supervisor to confirm that the computer system shows you already voted.

11. Ask the supervisor to double check

Let the supervisor know you did not already vote by mail. Ask the supervisor to double check everything.

12. The supervisor will

The supervisor will check and confirm that you already voted even tho you actually didn't. The supervisor will tell you the same thing the other staff already said, that you already voted even as you didn't because they're only as good as the data they're given. And the data may say you already voted even as you didn't.

13. Step aside

Hold onto the provisional ballot and step aside.

14. Call your sheriff

Call your sheriff or a non-emergency line to your local sheriff department.

15. Do NOT call 911

Remember to NOT call 911.

16. Don't call cops

Do not call regular cops or police, you want to contact your sheriff.

17. Say it's NOT an emergency

When you call for the sheriff, say it's NOT an emergency.

18. Report identity theft

Tell your sheriff you need to report identity theft, tell the sheriff you are a victim of identity theft but it's unique.

19. At a retail place

Tell your sheriff you are standing at a retail place.

20. Not a ballot place

Do not tell your sheriff you're at a voting place. It may technically be a retail place even if it's called a voting location. Do not tell your sheriff you're at a polling place.

21. You witnessed identity theft

Tell your sheriff you watched the identity theft happen right in front of and before your very eyes in person in real life (IRL) and that you are still at that retail location where the identity theft occurred.

22. Ask for a dispatch

Say you need a deputy dispatched or sent to where you are to deal with the identity theft.

23. Don't say anything political or crazy

Remember to tell them your location is retail and not a polling place. You want to make sure the sheriff department know over the phone that you actually watched somebody steal your identity. It was an act of identity theft. Someone has stolen your identity. Don't talk about election meddling, voter fraud, stop the steal, election theft, voting machines, China, Dominion, Mike Lindell's My Pillow, Donald Trump, Infowars's Alex Jones, Roseanne Barr, Tim Pool's Timcast, or other people and things. Just say identity theft because it was identity theft. It's that simple. It's not a conspiracy theory.

24. Wait

Wait for the sheriff to show up.

25. Tell the sheriff your story

The sheriff will find you, tell the sheriff your story that they said you already voted even when you didn't.

26. The sheriff will ask the staff

The sheriff will ask the staff and supervisor if you voted already or not.

27. The staff will confirm

The staff and supervisor will tell the sheriff what they already told you before that you already voted even as you didn't.

28. Pull out your absentee ballot

After that, pull out your absentee mail-in ballot and show it to your sheriff as evidence you didn't already vote yet.

29. Tell the sheriff what you are holding

Tell the sheriff you are holding your mail-in ballot.

30. That it's unopened

Tell the sheriff your ballot was not even opened, still in the original envelope it came in, it was unopened, it was not tampered with at all.

31. That you're a VICTIM of identity theft

Tell your sheriff you were a victim of identity theft as somebody voted in your name.

32. Demand a report

Tell your sheriff you demand a report right now on the spot, at the scene of the crime for the books, for the record.

33. Don't surrender it

Do not surrender your absentee ballot, you do not have to give anybody your ballot as it's your property. Keep it. Hold onto your ballot. You're NOT required by law to surrender your absentee ballot.

34. Keep it

Say you're keeping your unopened absentee ballot as evidence your identity was stolen.

35. This empowers an investigation

This empowers your sheriff to open up an investigation.

36. And the power to seize ballot boxes

This empowers your sheriff to seize ballot boxes.

37. And proper investigation

This empowers the right type of investigation.

38. Vote in person via a provisional ballot

Submit your provisional ballot as you're voting in person and keep your unopened absentee ballot as evidence.

39. Make sure your sheriff is investigating

Make sure your sheriff investigates the identity theft.

Conclusion

Summary of what you can do as follows:

  1. Request for an absentee ballot but don't open it
  2. Vote in person on election day

Welcome to my daily blog, my name is Oatmeal Joey Arnold, follow me on social media and on all the websites at Joeyarnoldvn or else. Wait, was that a threat? No way. I'm joking. But that's the thing about me, I'm a nerd stuck in the body of an athlete, born in 1985 in Oregon, been online since like 1995 (or longer) meaning I've been on the world wide web the past 30+ years uploading over 30K+ videos, we're talking thousands of hours of worth of content (I have millions of things online, literally), most of my content is terrible which is weird because I'm a perfectionist who would probably prefer only sharing my best stuff on the Internet. Click here for more information. Quick disclaimer, I sometimes like rant, I speak often from the top of my head opinions, feelings, random thoughts, I often don't even spell check, fact check, or look at what I've been posting on hundreds of websites and apps for decades now. But as I get older, I do try to be more careful as I try to summarize my life, my autobiography, to correct the record as I try to tell my side of the story to combat the Oatmeal Fake News that my lolcow trolls spam the Internet with as they fool people into believing the lies they tell about me. Not saying you should watch my videos. But if they can lie about me, they can lie about you. But I sometimes trolled my trolls to show the world how easy it is to fool trolls who fell for the lies I put out there. Most of what I try to do in my life probably fails big time you might say but I was at least able to scam my trolls a few times over the years. I sometimes utilize sarcasm, hyperbole, satire, comedy, absurdity, Devil's advocate, trolling, scamming, click baiting, out of context stuff, irony, etc. But I often wouldn't tell people when I was trolling or not trolling. If you studied me, you could eventually figure it out. But most of my trolls are too lazy to research beyond the tip of the iceberg which led to my trolls repeating lies they about me which would only take a second to debunk. I felt like I had more trolls at times than actual fans or friends. For more info, questions, feedback, join my Discord servers. I have more to say but I will continue writing some of this stuff other places as usual. Because I write many books worth of content all of my life. You can send your artificial intelligence or AI to give you outlines of my content and what not. Try using different combinations of words in search engines for better results. Adapt the rescue_floppy script into the dvd_recovery .sh file script, optimize it to work with ddrescue but don't rename the dvd script, I use this script for all kinds of discs, DVDs, CDs, compact discs, audio discs, data discs, unfinished unfinalized scratched home video DVDs, all kinds of DVDs, all kinds of CDs. Customize this DVD script to work on all kinds of discs. There should be different modes like a CD mode and a DVD mode, the DVD mode can optimize settings, variables, tags, speeds, sizes, cluster sizes, sector sizes, other sizes, other things, etc. Research how much rests/breaks disc lasers need, try to include a minimum of 10 second breaks every 5 minutes of rounds. Breaks should never exceed 1 minute is what I recommend, only give the disc drive lasers a break every five minutes, 1 minute break every hour. Tier 0 can help the script determine which tier new and/or returning discs should be at based on mirror files for example. First 20 tiers 1-20 should probably be a speed run that tries harder and harder per tier similar to previous scripts you wrote. The script should be flexible with an AI like script to customize itself based on what might work best for a particular disc. The main idea is the script should try to rescue or at least try over 80% of the discs under five minutes or whatever the fastest might be. Tiers 21-29 could be random tiers. Tier 30 could be an eternal loop tier that always resets through all combinations of variables, tags, etc, in order to try all numbers, all sizes, etc. Remember for a DVD, tier 1 should probably focus on whatever tags and variables has the highest probability of copying as close to 100% of a disc as fast as possible. Rounds should not be fixed to tiers. Instead, tiers should have the freedom to have as many or as little rounds depending on the variables, the situations, the script needs to be adaptive. During speed runs, round should generally do no retries, unless if many bytes are being rescued at the fastest speeds possible. Most tiers should generally focus on whatever works the best 80% of the time. Tiers should be speed centered. If tier 1 is 5-second rounds, tier 2 could be 6-second rounds say for example. Tier 3, 7 seconds. Rounds should get longer or the script should try harder things as a disc gets closer and closer to 100% rescued or as time goes by. Ddrescue has 4 steps, it runs through non-tried, non-trimmed, non-scraped, and bad sectors. It uses tags to do these 4 steps. But these 4 steps should not be fixed to tiers or rounds. The script should have modes, steps, tiers, rounds, tags, variables, sizes, speeds. The script should have stop valves that will attempt to go back to tier 0 if it detects that the script is stuck or the disc is not really being rescued or tried or no progress after one hour, the script needs to go back to tier 0 if things seem to be stuck or broken or something, it needs to detect the drive and the USB hub to make sure things are still working. Tiers 1-20 could consider using some of the 4 steps if it could run through some of the 4 steps fast enough. First ten tiers should probably only try all the bytes as fast as possible, no trimming or scraping in tiers 1-10 is my recommendation unless if it could maybe trim and scrape to rescue to 100% in under like 60 seconds. Discs should probably remain in tiers 1-10 until over 80% of the disc is rescued or until after 1 hour after every byte was tried. Tiers 1-10 should rescue or at least try every byte off a disc 100%, the script should not then move on to tier 11 until 80% of the disc is rescued or after one hour of trying everything in tiers 1-10. Make sure tiers 21-29 can customize all applicable tags, variables, settings, including numbers regarding sector sizes, block sizes, reading speeds, other numbers, etc. It looks like you removed 2352 from the script. Also, the name of the script is dvd_recovery.sh and do not change that name. Remember this script must work with all kinds of discs including DVDs, CDs, etc. Don't do a fast exit if it thinks a disc is empty. I said I want the valve to send the script to Tier 0 and not Tier 1. Gemini wrote "Tier 1" probably because Gemini assumed I made typos but Gemini is wrong again. Think about all the things I said for weeks to Gemini, think about everything I want for the script. The problem is Gemini often forgets things and drop important things from the script. Please make the script works for all kinds of discs. Make sure not to omit things from the script. The more discs have problems and scratches, then the more the script should attempt to jump more, try to increase or decrease jump sizes accordingly. Try to increase and decrease other numbers to other variables if that might help in some situations. Only include slow-reads or a decrease in cluster sizes for tiers 21-30. Decrease in cluster sizes or anything can be implemented in tiers 21-30 in attempts to rescue more bytes, the script needs to find all the tricks and hacks to copy 100% of a disc. Two ways to progress to tier 11. First, rescue 80% of a disc. Second, one hour after every byte is tried (meaning potentially not rescued but tried). Tier 11 can try to trim. Two ways to progress to tier 21. First, rescue 99%. Second, one hour after every byte is tried and trimmed. Remove the -X tag because it doesn't automatically closes, I have manually push the disc back into the drive which means the exit -X tag would stop the script. You can add anything that might help but not the -X. I went to bed at 05:30 AM. Woke up at 11:40 AM. Breakfast: 11:51 AM. Put water in the large caner as mom is canning, carried a pan of jars out of the oven to the counter, the jars were being cleaned. Make sure the script uses science and math to focus on the fastest easiest spots first and to focus on that most of the time. The script should try to remember different spots in order to determine using math which spots might be the fastest. I'm okay with extended rounds and retries if the script is running at the fastest speeds and for as long as it is running at the fastest speeds until it might start dropping in speeds as it runs into bad spots. The script might jump around looking for good spots, read speeds might be say 1 byte per second say for example for some spots, the script should remember these spots appear to be slower for now. But if a spot is reading at like 1000 bytes per second, then the script should try to continue the rounds and maybe even the retries at that spot for as long as possible. If the speeds drop by more than like say 50% for longer than like say 1 minute, then the script should probably jump again looking for more good spots. But those are only suggestions I am giving, please try to write the best script that can do the math to determine what to do and when to do it. The script should be speed and time focused as much as possible. The script needs to try remember what 10X speed is meaning whatever the fastest a disc can be read at. But remember that 10X speed is subjective or based on whatever the fastest might be for a particular disc. The script needs to be smart enough to jump around monitoring the speeds so the script can remember which spots has what speeds. If a spot is 10X or top speeds, the script should probably stay at that spot for a while. Eventually, the script might want to jump if speeds appear to drop too much and for too long. So, for example, maybe a 10X spot drops into a 9X speed. The script might eventually then try to jump to look for additional 10X spots. But eventually, the script might find say 8X spots. The script could stay at the 8X spot for a while until speeds seem to drop too much for too long. After that, the script should be smart enough to go back to the 9X spot because it is faster than the 8X spots. As soon as the script runs out of 10X spots, then focus on 9X spots. After that, 8X spots and then so on and so forth. Your job is to try to use math or whatever you can come up with that can best help the script figure out how to navigate in focusing on the fastest and biggest spots first (10X) followed with whatever might be second place (9X) and third place (8X) and so on, the script needs to be smart enough to stay at a spot as long as it is the best spot meaning the fastest possible reading speeds. The script needs to use the best math and mechanisms for determining when to stay and when to go. I would recommend that tier 1 focus on like 10X speed spots say for example. Tier 2 could focus on 9X speed spots say for example. But I am not saying you should write that into the script exactly, I am saying you need to determine how to write the script to best do everything I am saying by writing the best system for the script. Now, your script might have some of these things already but your job is to determine whether or not you can update the script to improve the design based on everything I have ever said to you in this chat and in previous chats going back weeks or years. I recommend that the script uses percentages sometimes in determining what to do. For example, 10X speed spots could be considered as 100% speed in a sense relative to whatever the fastest speed a particular disc might be. The script should try to focus on 10X speed spots (AKA 100% speed) followed with 99% spots and then 98% and then 97% gradually step by step. Sometimes, the script might run into a 101% speed spot which would then become the new 100% spot if it appears to be the fastest spot meaning the script needs to be smart enough and adaptive enough to focus on the fastest and biggest spots. The faster a spot, the more that could be copied perhaps. Make sure the script is as systematic as possible. The script might want to be aware of the percentage of the disc that is already tried, trimmed, scrapped, bad, and rescue, so that the script can correctly react based on those percentages. For example, if only 1% of a disc was tried, then the script probably should jump around more if it is not reading at the fastest speeds to look for the fastest spots. But if 99% of a disc was tried, then the script should either zoom in to finish trying the remaining 1% or perhaps the script could try to trim spots. I would recommend that if the script can trim at 10X speeds or 100% speeds or try the remaining 1% but at like say 1X speed, the script should be smart enough to focus on the trimming as long as it seems to be faster than trying slower spots. As soon as the trimming or scraping or rescuing appears to be too slow or too hard or too inactive or too stuck, the script should go back to trying the last 1% of a disc say for example. The script should be adaptive to even try to scrape if it can do so faster than trimming. I told you before that ddrescue has three steps, to try, to trim, and to scrape. Ddrescue tries to rescue bytes during these three steps. The script should focus on trying as long as it is at 10X speed and then move on to trimming as long as it is trimming at top speeds. The script should be smart enough to jump around depending on how the disc responds. That is why I recommend that tier 0 should be designed to best help the script determine which tier or step or round or tags or speeds or variables or combinations or settings a disc should be set on depending on reading speeds and depending on everything. The script can make mistakes, so the script needs to be smart enough to fix mistakes too. The script might find a 10X speed spot but that spot might later drop to say 7X. Then, the script might then move to a 9X spot because 9X is faster than 7X. But let's say for example the script made a mistake, maybe this new 9X spot is actually 6X or it drops to 6X later on, then the script needs to eventually go back to the 9X spot and stay there for as long as it is the best spot. It is hard to know which spots are 10X and which spots are 1X without like jumping around. So, the script should perhaps jump around and remember as it like tries to draw a map of the spots so it can remember which spots to target when. But jumping can take time which might sometimes be a waste of time to jump too much or too often or too far depending on what might be best for a particular disc based on everything. Therefore, I recommend jumping should mostly be based on the percentage of a disc. Say for example if a disc is 0% tried, then jumping should be maximum. If a disc is 99% tried, then less jumping because jumping should be based on a variety of things including the percentages of what was tried say for example. As the script jumps around and tries bytes, it should try to remember everything so it can better know where to jump to later on. The script should try to figure out where the 10X spots are and then try to go there first and then all the 9X spots as the script tries to rescue, try, trim, and scrape every single byte starting with the biggest and fastest spots first using the best known math and systems possible to best navigate and move around to gradually go from the biggest fastest spots to smaller slower spots. Yes, include a heat.map but only if that helps with everything I want based on everything I have said to you for weeks. Don't rename the script, the script is named dvd_recovery.sh and please update this script to make it works for new and returning CDs and DVDs and all kinds of discs, make sure the script works. Don't rename the script, fix the script, make sure I can always see the progress, the status, like before. I currently no longer see what the script is doing exactly. Also, I am not sure how effective your latest script is compared to previous scripts. The following appears to repeat the same target number and it seems to say 0% again and again. It might be that the script is blocking ddrescue from doing anything if the script is trying to make ddrescue go beyond whatever the limitations might be for the disc, the drive, for ddrescue, whatever the variables might be. Please rethink strategies. I want you to find the best route. Currently it seems your earlier scripts worked better. Try to fix the current script to make sure it can either do exactly what I want or try to compromise to get as close to what I want as possible. Don't rename the script, edit and update the script to include a minimum number map files (meaning either 0 files, 1 file, or more) and/or the best system for mapping out a disc, the script should try to map out a new disc at the beginning for a minimum amount of time in an attempt to best see the biggest spots that might be the fastest. I would suggest the script doesn't spend more than ten minutes for a new disc for mapping it out. Also, the script should continue to try to map things out whether it's a new disc or a returning disc. Make sure there is visibility like you had in earlier scripts. It still seems your script is too dumb and not smart enough as it only changes like too many different variables and settings like jump size and cluster size. But you need to consider that it might not always be best to just have code that simple. It seems your script is still too simple. Your script needs to be smart enough to find the best routes. But often times, you end up trying to force the script to do things that it can't really do which results in the script failing. For example, I want the script to try to find the fastest spots but your scripts seem to struggle to do that. For example, a previous script you had would try to force ddrescue to "--min-read-rate=524288" which might not always work. Your script seem unable to see this. Your script seem unable to adapt. Instead, your script kept on doing the same read rate for 32 rounds in a row. The script needs to know when to stay and when to go. If the script is too fast, it might never do anything as it jumps around failing to even try a single byte. If the script is too slow, it might get stuck in a bad spot for an hour unable to even try a single byte for that hour or longer. So, it is your job to find that sweet spot based on percentages and complex code, your script should function like AI does with an ability to determine the fastest routes to at least try every byte if nothing else. Make sure I can see the progress in the Terminal. Make sure the script is always trying to map out the disc so it can best target spots whenever it can. Make sure the script does not go too fast or too slow so it can at least try each byte at least once. Make sure the script is always moving around whenever it can. Make sure script focuses on spots that seem to be working, the script should try to stay in good spots for as long as it remains the best spots. As soon as things are tough for too long, the script needs to go back to jumping around. But eventually, the script needs to be smart enough to return to better spots as opposed to only jumping for like 5 hours straight say for example. The script should not jump too much. The script should not get stuck in bad spots for too long. If the script jumps too much and too fast, then it might never ever be able to even try a single byte which is a big problem. It is your job to make sure the script can handle that balance of jumping when things are tough and staying when things are great, the script must constantly determine what to do. Mom took a walk. Sunshine today, mom took photos, mom walked to the 2 churches and cross road towards the high school down the road. I did the dishes, got the mail. Shower. Lunch: 04:00 PM. Do not rename the script but please try to fix the script because it seems the script gets stuck on trying to map the disc, in the output, you will even see reset the brain to restart testing offsets which probably means it is stuck in some kind of loop which is probably a waste of time. Mapping loses value if it has to continue to map out the same offsets more than once. Please add a normal mode for new and returning discs. First, the script should find out what kind of CD, DVD, or disc it might be. Second, the script should try to simply continue to rescue the disc fully 100% using the most normal settings continuing from the map file if it is returning disc. Your script should switch from the normal mode to the AI mode when things are not working. The AI mode is your previous scripts which may include the scout and harvest modes. You should try to make sure the script has everything it needs for the normal mode and the AI mode. I suggest that if normal mode is not reading at least 10% of all the bytes in an hour, then the script should switch to the AI mode which should have many or all of the things from your previous scripts as we talked about for weeks. Normal mode should use from the scripts whatever is applicable including enough rest for the disc laser same as for any of the modes. The script could perhaps switch back to normal mode if the AI mode is making worse progress after an hour. You could include complex code to switch back and forth between modes for every ten minutes if you can find a proper balance that might work. But the script needs enough wisdom like an AI with an ability to truly detect after ten minutes or an hour that not enough progress is being made. Update: your last script is working as seen in the output below but I suggest that scouting mode should either only happen one time per disc when the script exits normal mode for the first time or after an hour of smaller progress. The script should assume it might finish trying every byte of a disc in under 10 hours. The script could monitor normal mode to see if a percentage of the disc is being tried. After ten minutes, if a high enough percentage of bytes are not being read on average in any mode, the script should either change to different modes, tiers, steps, rounds, settings, variables, numbers, jumps, sizes, etc, or the script should consider staying. I suggest as long as a disc appears to be on route to finish trying all bytes under ten hours, then the script should consider continuing that. Every ten minutes, the script can consider what to do. The script should mostly focus on seeing if 10% of the bytes are being tried per hour. The script can let normal mode continue as long as enough progress is being made on average per ten minutes and per one hour. The script can always return to normal mode if AI modes are being less effective after ten minutes or after an hour. I am not asking you to totally rewrite the script but to mostly add a normal mode that the script can use when everything else is not working as well. The script needs to be smart enough to know which modes are working the best. Just make sure the script does not spend too much time scouting. I suggest scouting only one time per disc or no more than once an hour if the script finds no other options. The script needs to remember which offsets and spots are the fastest but the script needs to not spend too much time scouting the same spots too many times. Try your best to balance the script so it can go back and forth between modes, tiers, steps, rounds, tactics, speeds, offsets, scouting, harvesting, AI modes, normal modes, variables, sizes, speeds, settings, etc. Don't rename the script. Update the script to make sure the script keeps the disc in AI mode for at least 10 minutes. If AI modes are doing better, stay in the AI modes. After an hour, the script could return to normal mode for ten minutes. If normal mode is better, stay there. Every hour, the script should consider changing things. If AI modes work better, then the script should continue tailoring rounds and tiers and settings and variables and speeds and everything to the AI modes for an hour. After that, then the script could perhaps try normal mode for ten minutes to see if it can do better than the AI modes. If not, then the script should return to the AI modes and tiers. Likewise, if normal mode is working better than AI modes, then the script should stay in normal mode for an hour. After that, the script should try AI modes for ten minutes to see if it can do better than the normal mode. If not, then remain in normal mode for an hour. The script needs to be smart enough to know if it should do normal mode or AI modes/tiers. The script should only do scouting for offsets once an hour at the very most for less than ten minutes per hour. But only scout once an hour if it appears the script thinks it is not on route to finish trying every byte in under ten hours. Don't rename the script, make sure the script determines the winning athlete, the winning modes, based on percentages of progress as it relates to bytes being rescued, tried, trimmed, scrapped. Scouting should only happen one time per disc or when modes are not making enough progress. If things are very bad, the script should be smart enough to switch modes within one minute. The script needs to be smart enough to know when things are not working. So the script needs to have a one minute check, ten minute check, and a one hour check. But some or all of the checks should not take any time, it should be instant, variables or percentages need to be able to trigger things. Scouting should only be a last resort and I would prefer scouting tries to only scout for additional offsets and not the same offsets. New and returning discs could stay in normal mode for an hour. If things are bad, it could switch to AI modes in ten minutes. If things are very bad, it could switch to AI modes in 1 minute. After one hour, it could do the ten minutes tryouts in the competing modes like competing athletes like we talked about. If none of the modes and tiers and options appear to be working well enough after an hour, the script could perhaps do scouting of additional offsets. But if it appears the disc is not behind schedule to try all bytes under ten hours, then the script should not do additional scouting. Don't rename the script but do consider editing the script. The image file of the DVD I am copying is 2.1 GB in size, previous scripts helped with that. Currently as I try to continue copying using the newest script you wrote above, the Terminal output said only 0% was copied even tho the previous script output said 35%. Now, I included sample output first of the previous script output followed with current output samples from the current/newest script you wrote above. The newest output first said 0% copied then said 19%. Then it said 0% again. It said 29% copied. It said 0.06% copied. It said 0% copied after that. It said 8.09% copied. After that, it said 35% copied which matches what the previous script output said. Currently, output says 35% copied which is good. So, it appears your newest/current script above is working. Study this, only edit/update to fix any any problems if there are any. This could be okay. It appears the script is trying. It appears the script might be okay. I only started your most recent script about 15 minutes ago. Evening church, Brian is back, he did the sermon on living faith, he talked about their mission trip in Arizona past few weeks. Mom said they would see Bruce Lee and Clint Eastwood movies in Roseburg, she did not say which years but her family moved there probably after roughly 1965 and mom started moving out of Roseburg probably as early as 1972 and probably didn't live there much after that outside of a few visits over the years since then is my guess.

But you have to always remind the AI that I've had hundreds to thousands of different accounts, channels, pages, groups, sock puppet alt accounts, personas, parodies, profiles, communities, entities, and so on and so forth, ask me about all of that if you dare. People are free to steal any of my like free content, you don't have to give me credit, do whatever you want. Welcome to my Oatmeal Daily which is generally posted & syndicated to different websites daily by me, Oatmeal Joey Arnold, feel free to mirror, edit, clip, reupload my content. Try using different combinations of words in search engines for better results. Study this file. Edit and update this file. Make sure it can continue to copy as fast as it can using ddrescue. Don't change the name to the file. So far, this file works for many of the 1484 kb hard floppy disks in my USB external drive into a power USB hub into my Ubuntu ASUS laptop with 32 GB RAM. However, during the last mile or specifically for the last 512 bytes of a disk, I wanted a script that could try many combinations of variables via different Terminal bash commands or code to help ddrescue try all combinations of tactics but it seems the script becomes not creative enough. I told Gemini earlier to be random for about a thousand rounds at the end. After that, I suggested the script try to go through every combination possible in order so it will not skip any combination. But it seems the script failed to do that. Eventually, the script gets stuck repeating only around five combinations of variables after like 2,000 rounds. Please try to add additional variables, try to find more variables. When the script runs out of combinations of variables, if that is even possible as there should be millions to billions of actual combinations of real variables, but if the script did pretend to run out of combinations, it should then reset and start over. Please try to add as many variables as you can. Remember variables are tags or different commands like -r -M and more. Try to find all of them and try to use any and all that might work especially as a disk is getting closer and closer to 100% copied. Try to make sure the script attempts to run through millions of combinations meaning one combination per round and then perhaps the script could reset if it ever tried all the millions to billions of combinations. But the script should also focus on whichever combinations work the best. The script should quickly move to the next combination when it isn't working or isn't really copying or too slow. One of the problems is the script ends up retrying five times with the same combination of commands or variables during the last mile. But retrying rarely works and I told Gemini for weeks to disabled that. Gemini said it did but failed each time. We need better AI as Gemini often fails at simple requests like this one. Double check the script, it generally copies 90% of the floppy disks but make sure it is optimized to first try to copy like 95% or more as fast as possible before it starts trying many different tactics and tiers like we discussed in previous conversations as the script should level up to try harder and harder with more and more combinations of variables to get 100% of each disk, I would recommend even 20 tiers and the rounds should not have retries unless if a round produced the best results of copying a lot of data at the fastest speeds possible. Try to add additional flags, try to include at least 50 tags or as many as you can find that might help. Also add any combination of variables including numbers relating to reading speeds, writing speeds, cluster sizes, sector sizes, rates, any and all variables that might help, try to include as many as you can, make sure each tier is bigger and badder than the previous tier to make each tier levels up. The only variable I see changing at the moment is stall which was at 973 and then went to stall 974 and then stall 975 and it kept on getting bigger. Fix the script. Also let me know what stall does, see if stall really can help me or not. Tweak the script to make sure the script tries everything. During the last mile of a disk, the script should try for at least 5,000 rounds random combinations before doing a thorough try of every possible combination of variables in order after that. Focus on winning combinations when you can. Go back to top ten winning combinations randomly sometimes during earlier tiers. At the very end if the script tried all possible combinations of variables in order, it should start over from the beginning or better yet go in reverse from the smallest of numbers like 0 or 1 or whatever the smallest variables and numbers might be for all variables and gradually get bigger and bigger with the numbers, the variables, but at the slowest rate of change per round as possible. Also, try to remove initial skip sectors thing whenever the script is at the last mile of a disk. I am not using Fideco. I am using an external USB hard floppy disk drive which is plugged into my powered hub which is plugged into my laptop. Change the dmesg check to every 10,000 rounds. Also, here is an update to the updated script you wrote. It looks like you broke the script. Yes, bundle the lsusb and dmesg check together for every 10K rounds. Also, remove duplicate tags that are scientifically not able to produce different results. For example, if round 1 used -d -M and round 2 used -d -M -d, then that is probably a duplicate in that repeating -d might not get ddrescue to do a different thing. I don't know if that is true, you should find out if repeating a tag might alter things. See if there are any possibilities. Do not remove synonym tags that might be similar but duplicates should only be included if they have any probability of getting ddrescue to do different things. I want the maximum combinations of variables or tags but not duplicates or anything that might not really produce different results. But synonyms should be kept. Also, I don't know if the order of the tags matter. For example, if round 1 uses -r -M and round 2 uses -M -r then you need to see if there might be a difference between the order of the tags as both round 1 and round 2 used the same 2 variables or tags but in a different order. If order matters, include the order of tags as a variable. But if not, then don't count the order of tags as a different variable if it does not or cannot actually alter what ddrescue actually does. Research the Internet for everything that ddrescue might be able to do. Study how all of this might work in an attempt to maximize the combinations of tags and variables to include all synonyms while eliminating or reducing on duplicates. I put in a new disk and your script jumped to a random phase. I had a log file and an image file of this disk because I was copying this disk in 2023. But I did not have a map file. Instead of saying I already had like 99% copied as my image file was already 1.5 MB in size, it started off at 1% which is normal when the script is lacking a map file it seems. I was only using a copy of the image file, so that was not a problem. After 4 minutes, 75% of the disk was copied. But my concern is in how your script functions. I would recommend that earlier tiers be focused on speed in trying to copy at least 80% to 99% of the disk as fast as possible using the most likely methods first during the first 10 to 20 tiers. Each tier should be different. Each tier should get harder like a video game. The script does seem to still work even right now. New update now: according to ddrescue, it says it copied all 1474 kb in around 7 minutes meaning all 100% of this disk was copied allegedly. So, in other words, your script did the job for this particular disk. But random tags/variables might be better reserved for later tiers, unless if you think all the tiers should be random. It is your choice to do what has the highest probability of working, research the Internet to see what might work for a wide variety of disks to try to copy at least 80% or more in under ten minutes or as fast as possible. Update the script to have the best system for starting off strong with earlier tiers doing whatever might work the most and the fastest for most of the disk before the script starts grinding for the remaining like 1% or whatever at the very end in like tier 20 or whatever it might be. Back to the script. I am on a new disk. After an hour and 100 rounds, it is at 23 percent. It did 99 rounds in less than like a minute, it copied around 1% in a short time. Now at 24% at 80 minutes. See if there is anything can improve the script or perhaps some disks are like this. It currently seems to only be writing/reading/copying at an average of like 100 bytes per second, seems to have a lot of error rates. Snack, 12:00 AM. I went to bed at 5:40 AM. Woke up at 11:10 AM. Breakfast: 11:36 AM. The 23% disk is now 81% after 5 hours. But now, I want you to rewrite your script. Don't rename the script. Tier 19 should focus mostly on random tags/combinations as a last resort assuming a disk isn't already copied 100% before tier 19. Tier 19 should try the highest probable combination of tags/variables. Tier 19 should only activate after the first 18 tiers are exhausted assuming the disk is above 99.5% rescued via ddrescue. Tier 19 should try to remember which tags/variables are most effective and try to focus 80% of the rounds on whatever it is working the best while sometimes trying new things to fine tune the search party. After ten thousand rounds of trying everything, tier 20 should begin at the smallest variables that ddrescue might accept and slowly introduce bigger numbers and different tags and variables one step at a time in order. Tier 20 should attempt to do a million rounds or more meaning tier 20 should try to do every combination but not randomly like tier 19 as that might result in skipping some tags/combinations. If tier 20 somehow does all combinations/tags, then it could reset and start over again at 0. Tier 20 could focus on whatever combination/tags that work the best if it ever finds anything. Research to find the best way to write tier 1, the objective is to increase the probability that 80% to 99% of a disk is likely to be copied within either ten minutes or at least in less than five hours. The script should be free to customize and optimize and strategize the top winning tags and variables that are most effective at rescuing data from disks, mostly disks made and used and formatted and copied to in the 1990s. Remember that the tags, variables, strategies, combinations, rounds, should generally not be fixed to the rounds or to each other because the script needs to be fully customizable, the script needs to be able to find the best path, the first tier should try the most likely combination of tags and variables and settings at the highest speeds and largest sizes that is likely to work as it relates to all the tags, variables, settings, sector sizes, reading speeds, writing speeds, cluster sizes, etc. Individual rounds in tier 1 could perhaps run for minutes to hours as long as they are making progress at a steady pace. Research the Internet to determine when the script should gradually progress to higher tiers. I would suggest that if a disk is not above 90% after an hour, the script should go to tier 2 which should be a probe. Tier 2 should quickly do thousands of fast rounds using variables/tags attempting to find out which tags and variables work the best for a particular disk. The script should probably and generally not spend more than 5 seconds per round attempting to try say at least 10,000 combinations/tags/settings/variables meaning one combination per round for tier 2. Tiers 3 to 18 should be similar to previous scripts you wrote where it continues where tier 1 and tier 2 left off focusing on what works the best for a particular disk but then it should gradually get harder and harder per tier like a boss fight like we already talked about. But the goal is to try to get as close to 99% rescued for a disk in as few tiers or rounds as possible with the higher tiers reserved only for harder disks. Try your best to let the script adapt to start with whatever the fastest routes might be for copying over 80% of a disk as fast as possible as a starting point, make sure the script can evolve in focusing on winning combinations starting with whatever is likely to work the most and the best and the fastest based on everything you can find on the Internet. Lunch: 12:20 PM. Rewrite your script, don't rename your script. The first tier should try top methods focusing on the non-tried if it is a new disk lacking like a map file or other files. Returning disks probably should skip the first tier if 100% of the disk was completely tried. The first tier should probably start with the most probable path to quickly try all bytes at the fastest speeds possible with the largest sector and block sizes that might work, tier 1 should try the most probable tags, variables, combinations, focusing on whatever works the most, the best, the fastest. I would prefer 100% of a disk to be tried in under ten minutes if possible. Tier 1 should be free to do whatever gets the job done be it shorter and longer rounds via any and all applicable tags, variables, combinations, block sizes, sector sizes, speeds, how many sectors, whether to skip bytes or not, etc. Tier 2, same thing like tier 1 but focused on the non-trimmed. Tier 3, same thing like tier 1 but focused on the non-scraped. Tier 4 could focus on bad sectors, bad areas, and/or on most probable combinations of things that might help in trying to rescue over 80% to 100% of a disk as fast as possible in under a thousand rounds and/or under ten minutes or one hour or the faster the better. Tier 5 should be the prober you wrote in the last script. The remaining of the script should be similar to the previous script but with this in mind. Make sure the script works with these new elements integrated into it, the goal is to better speed up the process of trying to rescue or at least try over 95% of a disk in under five minutes in the first tier or as fast as possible in a never ending script of tiers and rounds. Research the Internet for the fastest speeds, settings, variables, tags, sizes, details, customization, etc, that might get tier 1 to go the fastest it can, the script should try to hit that limit if possible and especially for the first like five tiers or maybe more. I told you about the 23% copied disk which went above 80% copied. After I tried your last script with this disk, it went for over ten thousand rounds in under roughly 3 minutes as in hundreds of rounds per second roughly speaking, it may have ran through several tiers but the last tier the script was on before I aborted was the T1-NON-TRIED-BLITZ. Gemini is not using real logic. Gemini used some of the same tags in previous scripts these past few weeks but without errors meaning the problem isn't simply the flags. Gemini is making the wrong assumptions without remembering previous scripts that it wrote that worked even with the wrong tags. I already told Gemini this many times for weeks. It seems Gemini broke the script but Gemini is blaming the problems on the only the tags. Gemini needs to research this topic. Gemini is making big mistakes that will cause billions of people to stop using Gemini. Gemini is still broken. Gemini is being stupid. Gemini is on these logical rabbit trails thinking it can fix the problems. That makes Gemini very ineffective. Gemini lacks real logic and wisdom. My suggestion is Gemini not only tries to fix the script cross referencing with scripts that did work but please also try to add a tier 0 that will try to figure out which tier the script should be on depending on if it is a new disk or a returning disk with a map file. Also, the script should have stop valves where it returns to tier 0 after 1,000 rounds of failure or anything that might not be working. Research the Internet, find out how to do that, you can have as many stop valves as you can write as a redundancy to make sure the script tries to reset or return to tier 0 whenever it seems ddrescue is not actively like rescuing data or at least trying, trimming, scrapping. Every like ten minutes or one thousand rounds, stop valves need to activate if it appears the script is spinning through hundreds of rounds per second like it it currently with everything Gemini is writing which makes me want to just ask Grok or other AI as Gemini is no longer able to do what Gemini did only five minutes ago. Try to add as many checks or stop valves that can return the script to tier 0 which can be a mechanism for trying to find out which tier a disk should be on. Remember tier 1 should for on trying each byte. Make sure tier 1 is optimized to actually work for most TDK MF-2HD IBM/DOS FORMATTED HD 1474 kb or 1.5 MB hard floppy disks from like probably mostly the 1990s and 2000s where the data was copied via Windows based computers generally. Remember I am copying these disks off a modern USB hard floppy disk drive that was probably made in around 2015 or after like 2010 roughly speaking, it might even be 2020. No. Your script failed again. Fix the script. Make sure the script has many tiers, assuming it needs many tiers. The tiers should be adaptive, progressive, creative, especially as a disk gets closer and closer to 100% copied. I still suggest at least 20 tiers or the script should be able to create adaptive tiers based on the circumstances of each particular disk to ensure it continues to try harder and better and smarter as the disk gets closer and closer to being 100% copied. In other words, try to add flexibility, customization, adaptation, variety, optimization, as the script tinkers or plays with different tags, variables, speeds, settings, sizes. In other words, perhaps the tags, variables, rounds, and even the tiers should not be fixed or perhaps the script should become adaptive eventually if everything else fails. The script needs to be smart enough to become adaptive after the normal things don't work. Eventually, the script needs to have as many stop valves and redundancies and backup plans and mechanisms and code and things that can check to see if things are working and if not then adapt until it finds something that works and then it should probably just focus on whatever is working for as long as it is actually working. I did not want a blitz in the first tier. Gemini probably forgot what I said. Gemini is stuck in a logic loop. Gemini needs to rewrite the script based off the last known working script which was probably an hour ago or so. The script could still stop valves. One of the last scripts that worked had 20 tiers. You could try to add an audit tier if that could work. One of my ideas I already told Gemini was to focus the first four tiers on trying, trimming, scraping, bad sectors. I still recommend at least 20 tiers but Gemini refused to and then Gemini ended up breaking its own script that used to work only about an hour ago. I suggested a probe for like tier 5 or after the first few tiers. But the first roughly five or so tiers are supposed to be designed to at least try or maybe even rescue 80% to 100% of a disk. But I also recommended a video game like boss battle starting with tiers 10 and beyond. I said tier 19 should be random. I said tier 20 should try all combinations and then reset and try them again and again forever. Right now, you have the option to use any, all, or none of these ideas. But I say all of this to help you understand the objectives, the goal. Your scripts worked with returning disks before meaning Gemini seems unable to identify the actual problems. I do not know how Gemini can be this stupid. The script needs to somehow be compatible with new disks but also returning disks. Only about an hour ago, these Gemini scripts were compatible with both. Somehow, Gemini is unable to rediscover what that compatibility was. Hymn Sing.
